Sunday Morning Waffles
About a year ago, I bought one of those cute, mini waffle makers. I didn’t intend on making tons of waffles with it, but here I am, on my 100th batch of waffles! I used to love pancakes, but this little waffle maker makes it so much easier! This recipe makes four waffles, I usually end up eating all four, but you could also share or save some for later :)
Ingredients
1/2 cup flour
1/2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp baking powder
pinch of salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 egg
1/2 cup milk
1 Tbsp melted butter
Directions
In a medium bowl whisk together all dry ingredients.
In a separate bowl, whisk egg, milk and butter.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients until just combined.
Grease the waffle maker and scoop about 1/4 cup of the batter to the waffle maker. Repeat until there is no more batter, usually about 4 waffles.
The great thing about waffles is how versatile they are. You can add in come chocolate chips, put any type of fruit on top or just serve them up with some butter and maple syrup!
